Benzodiazepine Use Disorder

We use medication-assisted therapy (MAT) to help wean patients off of benzodiazepines. Treatment also includes collaboration, when appropriate, with various therapists and counseling organizations to help deal with trigger management, stress reduction and discussion of underlying mental health conditions. We also treat associated anxiety disorders that can complicate recovery and with more advanced conditions not responding to treatment, we can refer to a mental health professional. In cases where patients require further escalation of treatment, we can make referral to the appropriate facilities and services.
