Anita Westfall, CRNP

ABOUT ANITA:

Anita has 20 years of nursing experience and 10 years as a nursing assistant. Anita’s previous experience includes both acute/urgent and family health care as well as many years of bedside nursing. Prior to becoming a FNP, she worked as a registered nurse (RN) in a Level 1 Trauma center in the Emergency Room, later became the ER Nurse Educator and worked as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Director who counseled and supported survivors of assault trauma, certified in both adult and pediatric (CA/CP SANE). Her experience as an ER nurse, trauma nurse and ER Nurse Educator have all shaped her role as a FNP to work with families and teach them about maximizing their overall health. Anita is an enthusiastic, personable, and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with leadership and team experience in various situations and roles. Proficient in providing care for patients of all ages in emergency and controlled situations which facilitates healthcare needs to the community, patients and their families.

Anita has been married to her husband for 31 years and they have 3 beautiful children. She has one grandchild and is expecting her second grandchild January 2, 2023. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, and enjoys spending time with her church family.
