ABOUT VIVIAM:
Viviam is a certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 10+ years of nursing experience providing healthcare and managing adult chronic diseases. Her scope of practice focuses on wholistic care, treatment, and prevention catered to serve patients of all backgrounds. She is bilingual; fluent in both Spanish and English; allowing her to communicate with and serve diverse patients. Viviam began her nursing education in Havana, Cuba in 1993, and later earned an Associate of Applied Science and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Northwest Shoals Community College, Bachelors of Science in nursing from the University of North Alabama, and a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Over her more than a decade working as a nurse, Viviam has worked as a charge nurse in medical surgical, ICU, and manager of rehabilitation units. Viviam received training as a nurse practitioner in Oncology, Cardiology, Hospitalist, and Emergency care.
Viviam believes in building lasting relationships with her patients and providing a supportive environment that allows patients to prevent disease and maintain a healthy lifestyle. She believes it is critical to empower patients and build confidence in order to drive a positive healing experience.
